“ No one who’d be interested in me.”

“That’d be great, if he didn’t hate me.”
“He doesn’t hate you, he’s very attracted to you, he might even be in love with you, it’s a little early to tell.”
“What makes you think he’s attracted to me?”
Melody stood up.
Tom smiled at her, “You know, hanging around with you Rythomanians is like being stuck in a musical.”

Tom’s face lit up. “Maybe it’s time I paid Chakotay a visit.” He dimmed slightly, “He’s stubborn, I’ll have to go about this carefully.” A calculating look crossed his face as he contemplated the seduction of the man he’d had a crush on for as long as he’d known him. “Melody?”
“Hmm?”
“Do you think that’s what Seska was talking about?”
“Probably. It was probably as obvious to her as it is to me. Did you find out anything about her by the way?”
“Yes, actually. She was a Cardassian spy.” He sighed, “I wish we’d caught her, I know it’s gonna catch up to us and cause trouble later.”
Melody smiled, “True, but that’s later. Don’t you have someone to seduce?”
“Mmmhmm. Best get on with it, I wonder what he’d say if I asked him to help me with a holoprogram.”
“You could always just ask him to dinner.”
“I like my plan better. It’s more fun.”
Melody laughed. “Tom you’re incorrigible.”
Tom smiled at her and wandered off, planning on how to get a mysterious and stoic Commander to open up, and fall into Tom’s bed.
